2. General
This website provides information about the WordPress plugin Courtora and runs on the WordPress content management system. There are no user accounts, newsletter, shop or comments for visitors. No analytics, advertising or social media services are integrated. Fonts, images and scripts are loaded from this server. Only if your browser cannot display emojis itself does WordPress load emoji graphics from s.w.org, a server of WordPress.org; your IP address is transmitted in the process.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you access the website, the web server automatically processes data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, page or file accessed, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system.
This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest lies in a secure and functional website. The log data is deleted or anonymized by IONOS after a short period. A data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR exists with IONOS. Further information: IONOS Privacy Policy.
4. Cookies
This website does not set any cookies for analytics or advertising and uses no tracking tools. WordPress only sets cookies when administrators log in to the protected area. These cookies are technically necessary (§ 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG). A consent banner is therefore not required.
5. Feature Request Form
You can submit suggestions for new features via the form on the "Feature Request" page. I will process the information you enter: name, email address, optionally club or organization and Courtora version, title, area and description of the request, optionally the use case, and your indication of whether and how you would support the request with a donation.
The information you provide will be sent to me via email and will not be stored in this website's database. I will use it to review your request, contact you if I have any questions, and plan the further development of Courtora. The legal basis for this is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, which you grant by checking the box in the form. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by email.
The form is provided using the Contact Form 7 plugin. It runs on this server, does not set cookies, and does not integrate external services such as Google reCAPTCHA. A simple verification question serves as spam protection. I delete the data as soon as the request has been fully processed, i.e., fulfilled or rejected, and provided there are no legal retention obligations.
6. Contact form
You can send me a message using the form on the "Contact" page. I will process your name, email address, optionally your club or organization, the chosen topic, the subject, and your message. This information is transmitted to me via email and is not stored in this website's database. I only use it to answer your inquiry. The legal basis for this processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, which you grant by checking the box in the form; you can withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future. The technical and spam protection measures are the same as those used for feature requests. I will delete the data as soon as your request has been fully processed and there are no legal retention obligations to the contrary.
7. Contact via email
When you send me an email, I process your information (email address, name, message content) solely for the purpose of handling your request. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract; otherwise, it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data will be deleted as soon as your request has been fully processed and there are no legal retention obligations.
8. Support via PayPal
On the “Support” page I link to PayPal. You are only redirected to PayPal when you click one of these links; the privacy policy of PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22–24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg, applies there. For a payment, PayPal provides me with the usual transaction details (e.g. name, email address, amount, date). I use them only to process and document the payment and, if you state it in the payment reference, to assign it to a feature request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) and (c) GDPR. Further information: PayPal Privacy Statement.
